Benito Mussolini, Adolph Hitler, and Joseph Stalin were dictators during World War II. These dictators shared the traits of being manipulative, intelligent, and strong willed. They rose to power in times of depression for their countries. They also promised economic reassurance to impoverished people. The citizens were desperate and willingly gave up some of their freedoms for a chance of economic relief. Despite promises of prosperity and economic relief, the dictators had "alternate plans" which caused problems that led to war.

The allies would not have won the war if it was a sacrifice of D-Day. D- Day was the day that the allies invaded France or get it back from Germany, which is why the allies won. D-Day killed many people and won the allies the war

The dropping of the Atomic bomb by Truman was justified. Although many lives were lost in Japan, it saved many more Allied lives. Dropping the bombs lead to Japan surrendering, shortening the war. Without the lives sacrificed by the bomb, many more battles could have occured and countless more lives would have been lost.

The quote of highlighted section allowed the Americans to know that the attack at Pearl Harbor on December 7, 1941 was an important date, which should never be forgotten. This speech was important because it calmed the fear of the American people and showed encouragement throughout it.

Even though women received the right to vote in August 1920, World War II was the turning point for women in the workforce because their husbands went off to join the army, so they had to fill the jobs of the men in factories. They needed to work in the factories to produce materials for the war such as clothing and weapons. This increased job opportunity for the women.
